The Charity

Stroke is one of the greatest challenges of our time.

As the UK’s leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke, the Stroke Association delivers stroke services across the UK, campaigns for better stroke care, invests in research and fundraises to expand its reach to as many stroke survivors as possible. It relies on the financial and voluntary support of businesses and individuals.

Rebuilding lives after stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there.

They provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support.

We are thrilled that the funds raised from the service will enable the Stroke Association to look into the gaps in stroke provision in Wiltshire, with the aim of identifying any missing areas of support and ultimately putting in place new mechanisms to help stroke survivors rebuild their lives after stroke.
